What Do You Do With Tomato Skins?

If you are like I was until recently, you threw them out or put them in a compost pile or possibly fed them to chickens if you have any.
I Don't Any Longer!
I saw where you you could dehydrate them which makes them paper thin and brittle.  Then you can whizz them up in a blender or coffee grinder (that you use for herbs not coffee).

"Then What?" you ask.
Add it to soups, chili, or casseroles for added flavor.  Mix with water to make your own tomato paste!  Or pizza sauce!

I'm never throwing mine out again, not when they are so very useful.

Want more wonderful ideas on making your own food ingredients without added chemicals and junk?  Then you might want to check out the videos of Mrs. Volfie at OurHalfAcreHomestead on YouTube!  This woman amazes me and I have learned so much.
