New Spin on Chicken Salad

I made chicken salad for dinner tonight and you can find my usual recipe here.  But I added a bit of zip tonight and used up something before it went bad.

This batch is 1 pint of my canned chicken breast drained & cut up
1/4 of a 1015 onion chopped
2 ribs celery chopped
3/4 cups pecans chopped
pepper & garlic powder to taste
a couple swirls of mustard
a big spoonful of mayo
AND the rest of the dressing was Dean's French Onion dip.  A very nice spin to this dish.
I had an open face sandwich on my homemade wheat bread, it was a great treat.  And I can take some for lunch at work tomorrow.  Wish I had had a tomato on it as well, maybe next time.

I really like the idea of adding the french onion dip for some extra zing!
