This facing page to the book of Isaiah is a full page in my NIV Pictorial bible. I am slowly going through and putting in pictures I want to look at rather than the photos Zondervan put in.
I found this wonderful icon of Isaiah and printed it out to size. Quite often I have to adjust the colors and make them a bit more intense. I use a free program called Irfanview to edit my photos as it is quick and easy.
I did use a gold metallic gel pen for the halo area. I used Elmer's taper runner along the edge of the image and carefully placed it on the page.
Simple and easy.

You are so steadfast in your hobby. Maybe the problem with mine was too many supplies taking over the tables until there was no room for ME.

I can't say I am steadfast. I started doodling in my bible 30-35 years ago as a way to keep my mind from wandering during hour long sermons. If my hands were busy then my mind could listen. About 17 years ago I left my old church and became Eastern Orthodox. The Orthodox services are sung and chanted and the sermon is only about 15 minutes long. So I only occasionally added to my bible drawings if I was studying something of interest to me. In the last couple of years I have become somewhat active again in making my bible into what inspires me, more drawing and adding icons I like for whatever reason. So it's really been a stop & start thing.
As far my other hobbies and supplies, I have the same problem you do. I have 5 plastic boxes full of embroidery thread and more skeins in baggies everywhere. I have 21 boxes of beads and could use more boxes. I did cut out my stash of fabric when I moved 3 years ago, I only have a small box of fabric now. But decided to to try a penny rug so I have a stack of 30 sheets of felt in varying colors, a bunch of pennies made but nothing completed yet. I live in a 10 x 12 room which holds the few pieces of furniture I kept, the books I kept and all the stuff I sell on Ebay. To say it's packed is an understatement. Some days I leave just to remind myself there is more space out there.
