Facing the title page for the book of Esther was another image I was not thrilled with. Many of the pictures in this NIV bible are photos of the holy land but they are not very inspiring.
I found this gorgeous icon online and printed it out to size. Using the sticky craft tape to put it in place and a gold metallic pen to color in her halo. This scan does not show off the metallic very well though.
This icon of Queen Esther does inspire me, with her beauty, her wisdom and her faith.
