This page in Genesis was just asking for stars in the sky, so I played with various shades and mixes of watercolor. I think it turned out rather nice, I'm pleased with this page.
I tried to keep my brush on the drier side to keep from wrinkling the page and mixed and layered the colors. The watercolors I used are just the kid's watercolors in a plastic box and my brush was a medium sized watercolor brush.
The stars are drawn with a metallic gold pen, and the shield is outlined with the same. The blue and red in the shield is prismacolor pencil.

I LOVE what you're doing with your Bible journalling. What a treasure in more ways than one!
Beautiful, especially those stars and sky at the top. I bought my first coloring book for adults last year and have lots of colored pencils, crayons, gel pens, etc. I admire your creativity.
