First off, Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Yes, a departure from the swirls. Since these pages were laid out so strongly in a grid, I used that as if it were windows and did a modern stained glass look.
The wide boxy borders were done with metallic gold pen, the rest with prismacolor pencils. The rainbow colors are cheerful and remind me that the first rainbow was written about in the old testament.
