Sunday Bible Journaling - Watercolor Errors

I took my cue from more illuminated manuscripts from the middle ages.  A meandering vine with leaves which I thought went well with the old scrolls pictured.  Fine point ink pen for the line work and prismacolor pencils.

That orange splodge in the middle?  On the next page is this:

I used watercolors to paint the books and got a little heavy with the orange.  A very light hand and much less water than normal works better.
