The beginning page of my bible were pretty boring and sometimes I added photos cut from magazines - it is a pictorial bible after all.
I really love the Book of Kells so a photo from it was added here and more colorful swirls around it. I used whatever pen I had for the outlines and the color is prismacolor. Colors can be layered and a paper blending pencil or tissue wrapped around your finger is used to blend them.
