As if I don't spend enough time on Ebay doing the listings for work, I have spent a good portion of today adding more listings to my own Ebay site. I have been fortunate enough to pick up some vintage dishes I think will sell well. This is just part of the set in the Epicure pattern made by Steubenville Pottery in the 1960's.
Then I found these cool 1976 Canada Olympics glasses in perfect condition!
This bowl (picture shows both ends of motif) is too cool, if it had been red I would have kept it. Federal glass mixing bowl also from the 60's.
My childhood coming back...how many
Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote cartoons did you watch?
Some cups & saucers and plates from Johnson Bros. Old Britain Castles, made in England. These are the dishes I use but I had too many plates and only kept a few cups & saucers as we use mugs.
This platter I picked up years ago in Hot Springs, Arkansas, but its not red and I don't need so many platters with only 2 of us here. So on to someone else who can better use it.
Sure is nice to upload stuff quickly now with high speed internet. Look for new items in my etsy stores coming very soon!

Roadrunner was my second favourite cartoon as a kid (losing out to the mighty Tom & Jerry) - i always used to love that little puff of smoke as the cayote hit the floor - and who wouldn't want to shop with ACME?? Their gadgets were so cool - much as the items here are so wonderfully eclectic. Great blog
Lord, 1960s is "vintage" now?
LOVED Wile E. Coyote. The poor sap.
Even the 1980's are considered vintage, they are over 20 years old!
I love the green pottery in the top picture, and I love, love, love the Roadrunner cup.
The 1980s are very retro an "in", now. My 12yo daughter is wearing the most ridiculous clothes, telling me they are fashionable and asking me if I was wearing similar when I was her age 'back in the 80's'! I feel old!
(truth is, I did wear similar, ridiculous clothes!)
