I'm all for hanging it on dowel but I don't think I'd make it into a window covering as the sun will damage it too much, and it's way too beautiful for that! I can still see it as a wall hanging, though. Hang it on that dowel with the leftover bit on the front, sort of making a natural valance on it. Of course if you really can't find a place I have 14 x 14 foot wall that could be bare in no time at all (LOL). Oh, and great job with the orts.
